{"id":2591,"date":"2020-10-23T15:27:23","date_gmt":"2020-10-23T14:27:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.salahadeenmosque.org.uk\/?p=2591"},"modified":"2020-10-23T15:27:23","modified_gmt":"2020-10-23T14:27:23","slug":"reason-for-sending-messengers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/salahadeenmosque.org.uk\/index.php\/2020\/10\/23\/reason-for-sending-messengers\/","title":{"rendered":"Reason for sending messengers"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Dear brothers, we start this weeks reminder with the 165 ayat\nof Sura An-Nisa which is translated to say:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u02f9All were\u02fa messengers delivering\ngood news and warnings so humanity should have no excuse before Allah after\n\u02f9the coming of\u02fa the messengers. And Allah is Almighty, All-Wise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If we take a moment to analyse this ayat, there are many\nlessons as always that we can take from the word of Allah SWT but in the case\nof today\u2019s reminder, this speaks to us of a warning, the warning being that\nthere is no excuses left.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The imam reminded us of the following hadith:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Prophet (\ufdfa) said, &#8220;There\nwas no prophet among the prophets but was given miracles because of which\npeople had security or had belief, but what I was given was the Divine\nInspiration which Allah revealed to me. So I hope that my followers will be\nmore than those of any other prophet on the Day of Resurrection.&#8221; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And in the case of our beloved Nabi SAWS, his message was\ndelivered for not just the Arabian peninsula but it was delivered for the whole\nof humanity and for the rest of time, until the Day of Judgement. So what does\nthat mean for us?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It means you and I are all continuing in the original\nmission to spread the message of truth, the message of Islam. It means that you\nand I are all ambassadors of Islam, we are to continue to spread the message of\nour beloved Prophet SAWS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dear brothers, we are in a privileged position being in this\ncountry but it is a place that comes with responsibility. On the Day of\nJudgement we will have a flock of people who were our neighbours, our\ncolleagues, our friends and more and they will all be asked if they had received\nthe message. For many, they will plead that they didn\u2019t and then the light will\nbe on each and every one of us. Did we deliver the message of our Rasool SAWS? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And so this reminder concludes with 3 tips on how we can safeguard\nourselves from this time which will one day come for each and every one of us\nwhen we are in front of Allah SWT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>It is not enough to preach our faith to others. Just\nas with children, action is stronger than words. Our mannerisms, our conduct and\nour behaviour is the first invitation towards Islam for others. If we are\nlacking in this then we will be losers, may Allah SWT protect us all.<\/li><li>We need to remember that the ayat lists first\nthe good news and then the warning. In this there is a lesson also. We cannot\ngo around telling others that they are destined for Hell. The warning follows\nthe good news and so spread positivity through descriptions of Jannat, of the\nmercy of Allah SWT and the beauty of the teachings of Islam. <\/li><li>Our role isn\u2019t just for our non-muslim friends, it\nis for lifting one another. Spread the good news to each other, remind one another\nof the promise of Allah SWT and the promise of an afterlife full of bliss. Now,\nmore than ever, we are all in need of this reminder so don\u2019t be stingy in spreading\nhope to one another.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Dear brothers, our messengers were sent to spread the good\nnews and to give the warning.
